assigning to the fglrx package, since that's the one confirmed cause of this problem. If you are experiencing hangs on logout and you aren't using the fglrx driver with an ATI video chipset, you should open a new bug report since your problem is unrelated to this and should be tracked separately.
fglrx is currently inoperable for Ubuntu 8.10, due to a lack of compatible binary drivers from ATI, so this issue may be "fixed" for intrepid in any case... |
