Ubnutu 9.04 X64
ATI Proprietary Driver FGLRX
Medion MD96729 Laptop.
ATI Mobility Radeon
ATI HD3470 Dedicated 256MB GDDR2
After upgrading from the open source ATI Driver where the back-light turns off when the screen is blanked, to the ATI Proprietary Driver FGLRX where the back-light stays on when the screen is blanked.
