Bug Description
I am NOT using a proprietary driver, why is this labeled as "fglrx-installer package"? I installed the latest stable opensource Intel drivers for my integrated Intel GPU and it worked flawlessly until now.
Steps to repeat:
I was watching a video "Matroska video (video/x-matroska)" in VLC 2.2.1 and all of the sudden the screen went black (only with the horizontal "_" character on the upper left corner) for 5 seconds and then threw me to the login screen. I could log in, but all my work was lost!
Related:
This problem happened to me a few times when I was using the proprietary driver (from official repositories) installed using Additional drivers.
