Bug Description

(I don't know if this below is a consequence of the above or not. Maybe the bug reports need to be split into two?)
Expected: when opening lid of laptop, expected to return from hibernate back to login screen
Instead: black screen with '_' blinking (I am able to switch to another terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F1 etc., with F7 being the broken one).
