Bug Description

After upgrading to utopic (14.10), neither fglrx (nor fglrx-update) works as expected any more.
System starts in graphical mode (X11) but driver is fbdev.

This is a Asus E2KM1I based system (e2-2000/Radeon HD 7340). fglrx (and fglrx-update) have worked before upgrading.

Work-around: Use open source ATI driver.

See attachments for more information (based on a fglrx try).
