Bug Description

HP Pavilion 23 AIO (CID 201206-11396)
ubuntu 12.04.2 with fglrx proprietary driver

steps to reproduce:
1. install 12.04.2 on the machine
2. use the "System Settings" icon to launch the "Brightness and Lock" control
3. adjust the brightness bar, make sure the brightness could be controlled well.
4. use jocky to install fglrx(post update release) (you may use terminal command "jockey-gtk")
5. adjust the brightness bar as step 3

Expect result:
the brightness could be control

Actual result:
the brightness could dim but not increase back.
The response of the control is slow
