Bug Description
As the support for my GPU (Radeon HD 4870) with certain games requires the closed-source
drivers, I installed it after downgreading Xserver to a previous version (as the newest version
does not the driver version in combination with my GPU, just like some other older models).
I have used this guide:
http://
The bug is what I got after I had finished the "install drivers" step.

You may need to use an older kernel too. You should really be using Ubuntu 12.04.1 if you have to use fglrx and have an older card. Downgrading your Xserver is not supported.
