Ran:
sudo apt-get -y install -f
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get -y clean
sudo apt-get -y remove --purge fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates

and worked without crashing.

Changed in fglrx-installer (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
