Bug Description

ffmpegthumbnailer is unable to thumbnail GVFS SMB shares. This previosuly worked in 14.04 but it broke in subsequent versions and continues to not work in 17.04 Beta 2.

A workaround I found is to fall back to totem-video-thumbnailer:

apt-get install totem
apt-get remove ffmpegthumbnailer
killall caja

 What does invalid mean and why do all my bugs sit out there for six months and then get changed to that? This is a real problem and all you're going to do is say that it's invalid and not tell me any reason why or any other information I just have to continue to deal with it? Why do I even bother?
