Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

libavcodec57 and libavcodec-extra57 are conflicting with each other, you'll need to purge one of them:

dpkg: regarding .../035-libavcodec-extra57_7%3a3.2.4-1build2_amd64.deb containing libavcodec-extra57:amd64:
 libavcodec-extra57 conflicts with libavcodec57
libavcodec57:amd64 (version 7:3.2.4-1build2) is present and installed.

I'm not totally sure why this is happening, but as Steve says, you cannot have both libavcodec57 and libavcodec-extra57 installed at the same time. If you don't need the -extra version, I recommend you use libavcodec57. Try manually installing it and removing libavcodec-extra57 like this (note the dash at the end):

sudo apt-get install libavcodec57 libavcodec-extra57-
