Bug Description

patchelf --set-soname broken on non-amd64 architectures.

This is seen at least for fckit. the build fails later in dh_strip/debugedit/readelf, however when removing the "patchelf --set-soname" call, and replacing the second patchelf call with chrpath, the dh_strip succeeds.

this still seems to work in Debian.
