When I open an epub file in fbreader there is a 50/50 chance it will display every space as a dash and two spaces instead. For example, this sentence:
"Caramon was pale and silent as always."
Appears as:
"Caramon- was- pale- and- silent- as- always.- "
If I cut and past the text, it pastes just fine. So it appears to be a problem in the rendering?
Other readers view the file just fine. And sometimes I can just close fbreader and then reopen it and it is fine. Other times, I open it over and over and it always displays the symptoms.
Best regards,
John
