Bug Description
The battery plugin still uses /proc for battery information which is deprecated in newer kernels.
Now the battery plugin should use /sys for this.

Here is a patch which adds support for sysfs.
After patching fbpanel and rebuilding with 6.1 it works on i386 and amd64 quantal installation.
Could this be added to the package?
