Bug Description

Binary package hint: fatrat

Fatrat uninstallation leaves the proxy defined in /etc/environment. This kills web access as the system looks for a proxy which has now been removed. After taking the lines out which were added by fatrat and rebooting, web connection is ok.

andy@D420:~$ apt-cache policy fatrat

fatrat:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1.1.3-1ubuntu1
  Version table:
     1.1.3-1ubuntu1 0

andy@D420:~$ uname -a

Linux D420 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

andy@D420:~$ lsb_release -a

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
Codename: natty

I uninstalled the app, hence "Installed: (none)" but the bug happens. The postrm script should remove the lines to not kill web access.
