Bug Description

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

dist-upgraded yesterday

My problem:

~$ sudo apt-get install fast-user-switch-applet
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
fast-user-switch-applet: Depends: gdm but it is not going to be installed

~$ sudo apt-get install gdm

Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
gdm is already the newest version.

Is this just me or a bug?

the fast-user-switch-applet source is deprecated since it doesn't work with the new gdm and the new gdm has an updated version shipped with gdm itself now, closing the bug since the source has been removed from lucid now

Changed in fast-user-switch-applet (Ubuntu):
