Binary package hint: fast-user-
When running as the live session user from the live cd, clicking lock screen doesn't lock the screen, it only makes it black. Therefore I think it should not be shown as an option in this case.

I think that the case where the user doesn't have a password is a pretty small corner case. There is currently no API from GNOME Screensaver to check to see if it will lock when requested. FUSA is requesting the lock from GSS.
