Bug Description
Here is the use case:
- I need 2 users (u1 and u2) in group 'family' to access the same f-spot photos. (sharing)
- I create common repository with symlinks.
- I change the rights as follow: chgrp -R family *; chmod -R g+s *; chmod -R g+rw *
- Both u1 and u2 have umask = 002.
Issue:
If user u1 is importing new pictures, user u2 cannot see them.
Diagnosis:
f-spot does not respect the group and right propagation, and force to chmod 700 (windows like)
Ubuntu: 9.04
f-spot: Installed: 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6
