Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

Hi,

I'm trying to export from f-spot to gallery, on Ubuntu 8.10. After adding the gallery account details, f-spot crashed. Since then, each time I just open the export to gallery dialog, it crashes. The output is:

thanks for the report, is that gallery secured with a .htaccess file?

I don't think so. When I access the /gallery_remote2.php page in the browser it opens without asking for any password.

I didn't mention it before, but the gallery is based on the Drupal module image_pub which is supposed to be compatible with Gallery Remote. But even if it isn't, I don't think there's any reason f-spot should crash.

right, could you run f-spot on the debug mode so we can see what's going on there as well? please run f-spot as : f-spot --debug &> f-spot-debug.txt perform the operation to make it crash and then attach the resulting file to the report, thanks in advance.

I had the same problem (added the first Gallery, f-spot crashed; since then, clicking Photo...Export...Gallery crashes f-spot). If it helps any, I have attached my debug output as f-spot-debug2.txt.

I'm seeing the same behavior. I select a photo and select "export > web gallery ..." and f-spot crashes.
