Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

I am not sure how it is suppose to work, but when I click on the "edit image" button in F-Spot nothing happens. I don't know how to get to the editing options available in F-spot, like red-eye removal, horizon adjustment etc. In the help documentation these features are mentioned and described, but I can't get it to work in the application.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you please post a screenshot of your F-Spot window after you have pressed the Edit Image button? My guess is that the left-hand pane with all of the actions is hidden (this was an earlier bug which is now fixed, but may still affect older profiles)

Yes, you are right, the left-hand pane was just hidden. Can you please explain what you meant by "(this was an earlier bug which is now fixed, but may still affect older profiles)". How was the bug fixed? What profiles are you talking about.

Allthough my problem is resolved now, I still think the application should give you some visual clue when stuff is hidden.
