F-Spot doesnt tag photos

When importing photos from a PTP camera, F-Spot is not tagging them:

F-Spot will create the new tag, but wont attach the newly imported photos to that tag.

thanks for the report, which version of Ubuntu and F-spot are you using? Could you get a f-spot log with: f-spot --debug&> f-spot.txt and attach that log to the report? thanks in advance.

Oh silly of me. Ive attached the log file, for some reason I couldnt open it with gedit? but i could with nano in the terminal.

Im using the latest version in the 8.10 repo's, which is 0.5.0.3-0ubuntu4.

I plugged my camera in and tried to attach a photo to the tag "12345" but it did not work. Is there any other information i need to upload to make it easier to fix?

We use F_Spot at work alot so Im kind of eger to help push this along.

As nothing has been uploaded/updated im guessing this bug affects Jaunty too

I've encountered it too (Intrepid + proposed/backports, updated as of 26.01), importing from an SD card. A tag is created, but not attached. Photos don't show up in the "Imported" folder either.
