Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

Although I can authenticate fine and F-Spot reports that I am signed in in the Export to Flickr dialogue, I still cannot upload any of my photos. Although the 'Uploading Pictures' progress dialogue appears on the screen and seems to start, it never gets past the phase 'Waiting for response 1 of N', where N is the number of photos I'm attempting to upload.

I use Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10, F-Spot version: 0.5.0.2-0ubuntu1.
Attached the debug log, I canceled the upload after 10 minutes of 'Waiting for response 1 of 1' (via Flickr web page it took 30 seconds to upload).

I experienced the same problem. However I discovered that the above bug:

has been marked as a duplicate of:

Which contains a work around.
