On startup, everything except the logo is illegible

Binary package hint: extremetuxracer

I am sorry if I am missing something, but when I start extremetuxracer, the logo at the top of the screen is perfect but the text on the menu is illegible. If I click on menu options they seem to work, but it's impossible to actually tell what I'm choosing.
