Bug Description
This package provides some extra xdg menus (currently "Electronics" and "Ham radio"), which may be required or desired by users of certain applications, such as Electronics programs.
The new gEDA 1.4.0 suite, hopefully being sync'd soon, really benefits from this, as do the recently Sync'd pcb-20080202 and gerbv-2.0.1 packages.
Extra menu categories for applications under GNOME and KDE
This package installs various optional extra desktop menus for grouping applications on GNOME, KDE and other XDG menu-spec compliant desktop environments. The extra menus may be enabled or disbled on a system or per-user basis with the supplied scripts, exmenen and exmendis.
