can not eject cd using hardware tray open button

Testing the pre-release, if I insert a xubuntu-intrepid-8.10-alternate-i386.iso cd in the drive and close the drawer, it works as expected. Thunar opened with the contents. When I close Thunar, and attempt to remove the cd using the open-tray button on the drive, it does not do anything. There are no error messages, and no response. I must right-click the drive icon, left-click eject to opent the tray and remove the cd.

The hardware open-tray button works with an audio cd.

This is still present in alpha3 and all daily images through 01-24-2009

This is still present in Jaunty Alpha 6 and all daily images through 2009-03-15. It is also present in the installed version of Jaunty I run as my work environment. I can not find any errors in any log files, but am attaching some Debug information that may help.

I get this error too. I have not tried it with an audio cd but it does not work with a dvd.
