Evolution - Error while emptying Waistebin in 'Local Folder'

Error fails to empty Waistebin, with full message header as in Summary above followed by:

"Error storing '~/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/Sent (mbox)': Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync"

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal - released in April 2011

:~$ sudo apt-cache policy evolution

I am unable to empty the Evolution Waistebin or delete individual messages from the Waistebin.
