I'm seeing this in a fresh 11.10 install, and I've also seen it happen in Fedora. It's almost as if it thinks the message has been displayed when infact it has not. The message is also not displayed in a new window. This is a real shame, because in virtually every way, Evolution is the superior client.

I wonder if it is related to the IMAP server, I'm running with dbmail 2.2.17 at the server end.

It's also worth noting that not all messages are affected, and not the most complex messages either... it seems as though messages received after the client was running (possibly after it was installed?) are ok, but this may be speculation.
