This morning, I tried to access contacts. Presumably as I had not cleared the contact's name yesterday, the same contact as yesterday was in the summary window. Again the window was not responding to open the contact's detail pages.

When I clicked on "File", "open contact" & "....V-card" were greyed-out.

Clicking on "clear the name of this contact" had no effect.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I received the following response after trying to click on several spots, including "mail" & the "X" to close the application.

"The window "Contacts - Evolution" is not responding.

Forcing this application to quit will cause you to lose any unsaved changes."

After clicking on this, Evolution closed. It reopened OK.

Otherwise, Evolution seems to be working - receiving mail, sending mail, getting addresses from the address book.
