Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When setting up evolution for the first time in a clean Natty install, all the settings are entered correctly but when sending/receiving, it does not ask for a password for the IMAP account and therefore does not download the mail. All it does it sit there saying connecting 0%. I have set the account up with the same details in Thunderbird and the account works, so it is not a problem with the email account. The problem seems to be with evolution in natty. I have tested a few mail accounts and all do the same thing. In 10.10 we were using evolution and IMAP without a problem. Please can someone take a look at this problem?

We turned off the proxy system wide and then evolution worked. So the problem seems to actually be that evolution does not work if there is a proxy server, which is a huge shortcoming.
