Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I try to read certain emails that are new to my inbox. Occasionally, an older email that has already been deleted will appear instead. Said older email had also been expunged from the trash previously. Trying to open the new email in a different window will still cause the old email to display.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10
Package: evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-28.49-generic-pae 2.6.35.11
Uname: Linux 2.6.35-28-generic-pae i686
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Architecture: i386
Date: Thu Apr 14 18:38:03 2011
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution
InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007)
ProcEnviron:
 SHELL=/bin/bash
 LANG=en_US.utf8
SourcePackage: evolution

I've been using imap, and it recently occurred to me that the emails that are displayed are from about 4 months ago, which is when I first configured evolution to use imap.

I doubt that it is reproducible. If it could have been, it would have taken four months. Interestingly, though, is that when I updated to Ubuntu 11.04, the issue was no longer occurring.
