I received the same error after logging in as the same user twice on the same machine (once on a server and again from a thin client).

Can you confirm whether you're logged in twice, or once?

Nope, i'm logged in once on the server, and it happens direct after starting up.

Thanks for your bug report. Can you try to get another backtrace with libc6-dbg, libglib2.0-0-dbg and evolution-dbg installed?

I get the same error at each xfce session logging on my Xubuntu (dapper freshly upgraded to edgy (not without trouble, the update-manager crashed. I had to complete the upgrade by hand using aptitude)).

I installed libc6-dbg, libglib2.0-0-dbg and evolution-dbg. Here is the "details" given by Bug Buddy:
