Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

In previous versions of Evolution (e.g. in Lucid) when I'd mark an IMAP folder as all read by right-clicking on the folder and selecting Mark as Read, all that would happen is that the folder would be marked as read.

In the new version in Maverick, that behaviour has been replaced by an unnecessary popup that asks me:

Also mark messages in subfolders?
Do you want to mark the messages as read in the current folder only, or in the current folder as well as all subfolders?

The problem is that the folders I'm attempting to mark as read do not have any subfolders.

My IMAP folder tree looks like this:

Inbox
    Folder A
    Folder B
    Folder C
    Folder D

and when I try to, for example, mark Folder D as All Read, I get this popup, even though there is no subfolder under Folder D.

This is new as of Maverick, and is QUITE annoying and makes for an even worse user experience than one normally gets with Evolution :(

I confirm this behavior on Maverick, it's working ok on Lucid.
