Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Hi,

in Italy there is a new way to sign email, called PEC (Posta Elettronica Certificata). The problem with evolution is: if you receive a PEC message with attached a file, this one is codified with extension .p7m

Evolution don't work with this extension. I think that the problerm is only for italian people that must use PEC for work. The same thing happens with Thunderbird (2.xx and 3.xx).

Shame on me for poor english!!!

Roby

The file postacert.eml contains another file (a document in pdf) that is codified with .p7m

From 2010 italian public administration should use this kind of digitally signed mail for every comunications with other adminstrations and, from 2011, also with citizens.

Found a workaround

install mpack (sudo apt-get mpac)
