Bug Description

I've configured an imap server based on courier-imap with Maildir support.
I can see mails in subfolder of INBOX, but I can't see mails in directly in the INBOX, tough the properties of the INBOX said that there are x mails.

Thunderbird and other webmail imap client like squirrelmail don't have the problem.

Thanks for your bug. What happens if you subscribe again to the INBOX?

I do not understand why this bug was closed. Is the status "Fix Released" the result of the reporter's reply "cool! now it works"? I am hopeful that subscribing again is not regarded as a fix.

If it works why shouldn't the bug been marked as fixed? Could be the same bug as bug #21328 which is fixed now. Do you still have the issue? Could you comment about what happens exactly for you?

I am afraid you have answered my question with a "yes", i.e. confirming that the success of the workround resulted in the status "Fix Released".

I encountered what appears to be the same issue in 2.4.1-0ubuntu7. The bug and the workaround are the same for me as described above.

To answer your question "If it works why shouldn't the bug been marked as fixed?", because "it" refers to the workaround, not to Evolution. I am afraid I will therefore see the same bug in Dapper.

you didn't reply to the "Could be the same bug as bug #21328 which is fixed now", so why do you claim you will get it with dapper?
