Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Although I have removed evolution with "apt-get remove evolution", the menuitem "Evolution" in the "Office" item group is still there.

This bug effects Ubuntu Software Center since it doesn't remove evolution-common.

This bug is a result of bad packaging.

if someone is to remove evolution via software center, they end up with dead menu item they cant use.

The cause of this bug is that evolution-common is not removed when Evolution is uninstalled. The non-removal of evolution-common by the Software Centre has been identified as the cause of a couple of bug, including this one, so I'm going to mark this as a duplicated of that one.
