Binary package hint: evolution

when I receive an email from a contact in one of my addressbook the «from:» field doesn't show the name of the contact which sent my the email.

This makes hard to recognize whose email is that if the sender hasn't configured well his settings.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

It works that way here, shows the contact name, could you take an screenshot of that if you're still facing the problem with Karmic? thanks.

The problem is still here.

In the attached screenshot you could see that the sender name has no capital letters, but I stored that contact with both name and surname with capital letters.
