Binary package hint: evolution

The "Preferences" window in Evolution 2.27.91 is too big and the bottom of the window is being placed behind the bottom panel. The bug is present in Ubuntu 9.10 Alfa 32 bit fully updated to September, 1, 2009.

This type of bug reflects poorly on this application. More people would be inclined to use Evolution if this was addressed.

Thanks for reporting; this issue is being tracked as bug #23810.

I do not think this is a duplicate of the bug in the link provided. The bug in the link reflects an older version of Evolution.

Yes, apparently it's an old issue. That doesn't mean it's not a duplicate. The upstream bug is about Evolution being unusable on small screens, so it covers this.
