new notification show wrong number of new messages in evolution

the new notification system shows only the number of new messages of one folder and not the total number of new messages in all the folders

im using a imap account with a few folders and the mail is automaticly sorted to the folders

it happens all the time

there no steps to take only recive new mails to different imap folders
for example having new messages in the inbox folder and in the university mail folder only show the number of messages in one of them ignoring the rest

ill try to be fast enough to catch the notification in a screenshot

the issue you seem to describe is that the count concern only inbox, that's nothing new in jaunty the option always did that and has nothing to do with the notification changes

And that's a duplicate of bug 251417 and upstream http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=496380. marking it as such.

the notification is right, as said before it counts emails in the inbox and not other boxes

Its the same issue, Those issues are being tracked on the upstream report i pointed you, did you read it ? it clearly says: "Only new messages in INBOX are reported, new messages in other folders are
ingored. It implies, that string "in INBOX" says nothing". There's no need to open several reports linking to the same upstream one, that only creates confusion and more work for the triagers and developers, marking this as duplicate again, thanks.

well now it has been fixed as thought its not the same though very similar to the supposed dupe
any way now the count is right and it shows notification even if im currently watching a different folder
