Bug Description

Installed Ubuntu, great!

Setup Evolution for my existing Verizon account.
(I've done this before now with Kanotix & KMail = ok)
Evolution should ask me for my password but doesn't.
Evolution goes directly to the web trying to download
email from Verizon's site without asking for password.

I checked online at Verizon to see if new emails were there,
yes several.

Thanks for the report.

Could you provide some more information, please?

- Version of Evolution package
- Type of e-mail account (IMAP, POP3 etc)
- The settings you have entered into Evolution (excluding personal information like username and password)

I'm also interested by this part:

"Evolution goes directly to the web trying to download
email from Verizon's site without asking for password"

Could you explain this, please? What exactly happens here?

Thanks again,

Phil
