Thanks for the report.

Could you provide some more information, please? What version of evolution do you have installed? What options have you entered in the evolution Preferences under Mail Accounts | Edit | Security?

used evolution version: 2.6.0
entries in security preferences:
PGP/GPG Key ID: 8F2376AF
"Always sign outgoing messages when using this account" is checked.

That's it.

Did you type 63D7D802 as your key (in the account -> security preferences) or 0x63D7D802?

Can you try to have a look if CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution gives anything interesting in the log?

Hi, i think i had the same problem when i used my breezy home in dapper.
Removing the seahorse agent line in ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf made it work again.

look for something like this:
gpg-agent-info /home/sven-tek/.gnome2/seahorse-TVM14S/S.gpg-agent:8723:1

+ visor module crashes randomly on sync attempt
+ laptop keys for controlling backlight not working
+ suspend to ram and suspend to disk not usable
+ wpa_supplicant never recovers from loosing connection to a wifi-hotspot with an atheros card when using wpa encryption.

of which the first and the last one are no-go criteria.

I'm sorry to hear that and hope the bugs will get ironed out.

Please reopen the bug with information, if you tried removing the seahorse line.

I suceeded to install dapper directly as server (not update path via breezy) and then upgrading to ubuntu-desktop via network install. I signed an e-mail and it worked. evolution even automagically selected the valid key from my keychain (i hadn't to select a key manually). So it seems to be the seahorse line.

BTW, i have seahorse installed and my ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf is empty.
