2009-02-10 20:14:05 Dragan Tomas bug added bug
2009-02-10 20:14:31 Dragan Tomas description Binary package hint: evolution Maybe this is already a duplicate, but please understand that I have tried to look at all instances where this bug may have been previously reported, some even dating back to year 2006. However, none of those bug reports are conclusive and they don't offer any fixes for the current release. Please let me know if that is not so. I'm using Evolution 2.24.3 with Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid). This happens at least 3 times a day. When it happens I try to close Evolution, but it immediatelly becomes totally unresponsive while it stays grayed out. The only way I've been able to get it back to a functional state is to kill or end task for 'evolution-alarm-notify' (at the minimum), which automatically pulls down the drain with it another process called 'evolution-data-server-2.24' I have two mailboxes on it, both Exchange 2003 and POP3, but they don't point to the same server. Even when I first had only Exchange mailbox configured the problem was already present. Please let me know how I can contribute more information for your bug fixing consideration.
