Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I've configured my name in Evolution as

J. Pablo Fernández

When I send an email, it appears like this:

J. Pablo" Fernández

checking the sources of the email messages in the sent folder I see:

From: "J. Pablo" =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Fern=E1ndez?= <email address hidden>

which is the same thing you can see on a received email:

From: "J. Pablo\" =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Fern=E1ndez?=" <email address hidden>
http://groups.google.com/group/clojure/msg/91d4a5ac2ecb03c5?dmode=source

I'd like Evolution to respect my name and leave it as it is, and if any processing is necessary, to do it right.

Thanks.

This is 100% reproducible and has been present since I started using Ubuntu in Breezy.

To reproduce it: configure an Evolution account, and set the name (Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts->...select the account...->Edit->Full name: J. Pablo Fernández, attached screenshot), send an email with that account, look at the sent email in your sent folder or on the destination.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10.

Thanks.
