Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I'm Using Ubuntu 8.10, evolution 2.24.1-0ubuntu2.

Unrelated to the actual number of unread messages, my virtual folders will at times show a really large number of unread messages, while other times non at all, even when there are unread messages present that would normally be matched by the criteria. One virtual folder (gmail in screenshot) consistently shows one non-existant unread message.

When I try to read all these unread messages, by toggling "show unread messages", evolution responds that there are none. I have attached a screenshot of the situation. Notice that the application bar shows -635 unread out of 4 total, while the real number is more like 0 unread out of ~2000 total.

If I can provide any help with error logs or anything, do tell.
