I experience the same bug.

I can work around it by starting evolution from a terminal. Probably starting it with "--component calendar" would work too, if you wanted to use a shortcut from the GUI.

Hello,

of course, the "work around" does not work for me. There is still a segfault on multiple operations in calendar. When a fix will be released? Evolution is one of the most important apps in Ubuntu, this has to be fixed immediately, and, of course, it should not be a problem to fix that, should it?

Hurry up, or shall users switch to Windows and Microsoft Outlook? This is a bug which is not acceptable in a final release of a operating system, of course, Microsoft would not release shit like that. I'm not a Microsoft-Fan, absolutely not. But I think in a practical way. This ist what users would say about Ubuntu. Of course I use Ubuntu as a professional. And I need that bug to be fixed!

Greetings,

I'm also experiencing the crash while accessing the Calendar tab in Evolution. It shows the calendar for half a second and then it dies.

If I start start Evolution from the terminal right after the crash, it seems to start right where it left off (before the crash) and loads into the Calendar. But, as mentioned above, if I try to use the calendar in any way, it crashes once again with a segfault in "libatk-bridge.so".

Idem for me in Intrepid
Rather annoying

I can confirm that the crash for me is also a segfault in "libatk-bridge.so" (checked this with gdb).

Evolution is *extremely* flaky for me in Intrepid. I am open to any options, if anyone has suggestions. :(
