Bug Description

I've decited to check out Evolution/Calendar features. Sadly, everything related
to calendar operations (add task, meeting, todo) crashes it without warning.
I've disabled HTTP calendar plugin in settings, but it didn't help. I also
noticed some random, unreproducable crashes. (ie. Adding new signature)

evolution 2.12.1 on ubuntu 7.10

I'm getting only these errors:

calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: e_day_view_add_event: assertion `end > add_event_data->day_view->lower' failed
calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: e_week_view_add_event: assertion `end > add_event_data->week_view->day_starts[0]' failed

I get them when trying to resize an event. Sometimes it resizes (say from starting at 15 to starting at 16, for example), but sometimes it just ignores you. Doesn't seem to matter if the event is repeating or it is one-time event. Also doesn't seem to matter if you choose to 'apply to every instance' or to 'just that instance' when asked.

Hope it helps to find the problems, because you get the same errors, plus some more. These could be a separated problem.

Go on guys!!

It seems improved. Now you can resize, move and erase an individual event. But when the event is repeated, after resizing or moving a couple of events it starts to act weird, and it says this when focusing on an event:

(evolution:27037): calendar-gui-WARNING **: comp-util.c:242: Invalid object

and this sometimes too:

calendar-gui-Message: e-calendar-view.c:2060: Could not update the object!

Sometimes it crashes silently while doing this things.

You can not erase the repeated event, neither an individual event or the whole group. But when you restart evolution they are gone. So they are erased, but not updated on screen or something until you restart.

Keep going people !! You are closer now!!!
