Bug Description

Clicking on a mailto: link doesn't work. Not sure if this is an epiphany or
evolution bug.

Here's the console output:

manu@hobbes:~$ epiphany
plugin_get_value 1
plugin_get_value 2
es menu class init

(evolution:28691): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Invalid URI: mailto:<email address hidden>

Strange, it works for me.

What is your version of Ubuntu : Breezy or Hoary or Hoary with backparts ?

Can you apt-cache policy epiphany and evolution ?

Does it works with Firefox ?

Salut Ploum.

Here are some more infos:

epiphany-browser:
  Installé : 1.7.4-0ubuntu2
  Candidat : 1.7.4-0ubuntu2
 Table de version :
 *** 1.7.4-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com breezy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
evolution:
  Installé : 2.3.7-0ubuntu2
  Candidat : 2.3.7-0ubuntu2
 Table de version :
 *** 2.3.7-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com breezy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

It's an ubuntu hoary upgraded to breezy a few weeks ago.

With firefox:

manu@hobbes:~$ firefox
*** loading the extensions datasource
*** loading the extensions datasource
es menu class init

(evolution:5959): evolution-shell-WARNING **: Invalid URI:
mailto://<email address hidden>

So no, it doesn't work with firefox.

I've changed bug package to evolution.

Bah. I tried a Microsoft™ solution, which was:

apt-get remove --purge evolution

Then:

apt-get install evolution-plugins

To reinstall evolution + evolution-plugins, and now it works fine.
