Bug Description

(Ref Bug #13107) This same problem occurs when clicking on the Evolution icon on
the Gnome Desktop, which wants to load evolution-2.0 instead of evolution-2.2
(also in the Debian menu (/usr/lib/menu/evolution).

do you speak about the panel icon?

I have found that clicking the panel icon returns the following error:

"Cannot launch icon
Details: Failed to execute child process "evolution-2.0" (No such file or
directory)"

This started to happen immediately after upgrading from Warty to Hoary.
Launching Evolution via the Applications menu works fine.

This is happenning on Breezy! The icon refers to evolution-2.2, while Breezy
seems to be using evolution-2.4., resulting in a error message.

fixed, gnome-panel's config uses evolution-mail.desktop now and the current
packages ship files for hoary upgrades
