Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When I enter a birthdate for a contact, and that birthdate is before 1970, the age on the "Birthday calendar" will be wrong: it appears as if the contact has been born in 1970, instead of his/her real birth year (so it shows 37 for 2007, 38 for 2008, etc)

I have an amd64 system.

I don't think this is a duplicate. I've forced the age to 1960 by using the "calendar dropdown" in the contact/edit panel, and it shows like '1960' in other places (most notably, the "contact details" page in Evolution (when you click on a contact and see his details in the bottom pane)

I would say they are similar enough to not require several bugs, somebody working on the issue should look also at what described

This is tracked upstream as a separate problem:

I was going to report the same bug. Where is it being tracked? Only upstream? Status?

John it's a dup of bug 48679, you might take a look to it if you want to know the status.
