category icons not displayed in task, memo view

Bug Description

I'm using the evolution package bundled with Ubuntu Feisty.

My problem is: there are icons associated with categories, but these do not display properly When looking at tasks or memos in the preview window. Instead I get the little x-ed out box, indicating the associated image file is not found or is being prevented from displaying. The icons DO display on the calendar, however. (When I categorize calendar entries.)

This isn't a mission critical problem, but it is highly annoying, as I'd like to categorize tasks and memos, but I don't want to be staring at that little x-ed box.

I can reproduce this behavior, so I confirm this bug.

I can confirm behavior. When viewing a memo with a category associated with it, gkthtml will spit out an error message like this:

(evolution-2.10:17092): gtkhtml-CRITICAL **: gtk_html_stream_write: assertion `size > 0' failed

After experimenting with rescaling the images based on what a commenter did in a gnome bug report filed against gtkhtml: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430812 I figured that it wasn't the scale of the image that was causing the problem, but rather the size of the image file. For some reason, any image file smaller than 1K (1024) won't be displayed. However, if you open the png file in gimp and then re-save the file with 0 compression you'll generally get a png file slightly larger than 1K. Now the category icons show up in the memo

Sorry, stuck on dial-up. I usually don't upgrade until cd's are available through ship-it.
