Bug Description
In Ubuntu 12.04, while using Evolution, the global drop-down menus keep changing. Opening different modules, such as Contacts or Calendar, or even going back to a previous module, such as Mail -> Contacts -> Mail, causes the order of the drop-down menus in the global menu bar to keep changing. For example, File, Edit, ... changes to Edit, File, ....
Ubuntu release: 12.04 LTS (precise) amd64
Kernel: 3.2.0-30-generic #47+kamal6~
Evolution version: 3.2.3-0ubuntu6
Expected behaviour: The order of the drop-down menus remains consistent across modules.
Actual behaviour: Changing modules changes the order of the drop-down menus in the global menu bar.
How to reproduce: -
1. Open Evolution and ensure that the window is maximised.
2. Check the order of the drop-down menus by pointing to the global menu bar.
3. Change to a different module, such as Contacts or Calendar.
4. Repeat step 2 to verify that the order of the menus is not as it should be.
Launcher auto-hide is enabled.
