I have one POP3 and two IMAP accounts (Gmail and Yahoo) configured in Evolution, the message indicator works (light and count up) ONLY with new messages from the Gmail (IMAP) account, the other two accounts (POP3 and Yahoo-IMAP) shows notifications (popup) but the message indicator does not light up nor count up the number of unseen messages in these mailboxes.

Ubuntu 11.04 on i386.

I have two IMAP(one Gmail and the other is from my university) accounts and one POP3(MSN) account. This notification works all fine with the two IMAP accounts but not the POP3 account. My workaround for this is using a Gmail(or other IMAP service provider that makes the indicator work) to warp the POP3 account. I keep the account's outgoing setting unchanged and replace the receiving option by the new Gmail account. Now the indicator works ... not perfect, but I think I can accept that ...
